Neil's gonna give me the "we don't do windows beta's" speech but I thought I'd just put a note in that yesterday's update for the Windows Insider "beta" channel has a problem. Changing a DeskScape will result in explorer.exe going into a crash loop.

Fyi, I did try to uninstall/reinstall and saw the same behavior.
I've had similar problems (explorer.exe crash loop) in Windows 10 and Windows 11 Beta, but found that the problem occurred after installing updated NVidia drivers without rebooting after the install. I haven't installed (KB5010414) but its pending. If I encounter the same thing reported here after doing so, I'll add to this thread.

I've looked into the problem substantially and found that the issues arise only when using a multiple monitor configuration, and that they affect any programs which use fullscreen or scaling (or both) and that it appears to be an issue with the update. Using fullscreen applications in windowed mode seems to stop the explorer crash loop. I hope that helps.
